Shipping & Return Policy

 

RETURN, REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY

 

 At Specskraft, we want you to feel spectacular with our Eyeglasses, Sunglasses & Contact Lenses!

In the rare case that you’re not satisfied with your purchase (for whatever reason), we have a 14 day return/refund/exchangepolicy. This policy is subject to the following conditions -

  • This policy is applicable only for customers residing in India. We will not be able to provide returns, exchange or replacements to any international locations;
  • This policy is applicable only for Eyeglasses and Sunglasses ordered from the Company’s website. The request forreturn, exchange or refund should be raised within 14 (fourteen) days of the receipt of the products from our Website;
  • To request for a return, refund or exchange, please contact our customer care at +91 9538 538 000 or mail us at support@specskraft.com and we will get in touch with you;
  • During the return of the product, the following details need to be mentioned on the reverse side of the invoice - order number, the date of order and your date of receipt. In case of any dispute, the date of receipt considered will be as the Company’s official records;
  • While the product is being sent back to the Company, the return package needs to be packed appropriately. It must be also be accompanied with the invoice and original packing. Any damage in transit will continue to be the customer’s responsibility and this policy will cease to be applicable;
  • The returned product should be in ‘Sellable’ condition. Further detailed out below –
    • For Eyeglasses & Sunglasses - There should not be any scratches or chipping on the frames or lenses. The frames should not be bent or twisted. There should not be any discoloration or loss of paint or coating. All the screws and any embellishments should remain intact and must be returned with the original box, guarantee card and any other accompaniments, if any;
    • For Contact Lenses – The original unopened sealed product and packaging are mandatory;
  • The refund, return or exchange process will be initiated only after we have received the product/s in ‘sellable’ condition as mentioned above;
  • Once the returned product reaches the Company, the quality team would inspect the product to decide whether the products are ‘sellable’ or not and hence eligible for a refund/return or replacement/exchange;
  • The final decision on whether the returned goods are ‘sellable’ lies solely with the quality team at the Company;
  • In the event that the return request is due to a power change from the initial prescription submitted at the time of the order, the customer would need to pay for the additional charges as applicable. The Company’s discretion on this matter would be final;
  • In case the return request is accepted by our team, we will either offer you website credits or refund the money back to you via the original mode of payment or exchange/replace the product. The Company reserves the right to change manner of refund as per its discretion from time to time. Following will be the manner in which each of these would be executed –
    • In case of Website Credits - Website credits can be used to purchase Eyeglasses or Sunglasses on the store;
    • In case of a Replacement - You could exchange the purchased product for a different product of the same value or a higher value. No difference will be paid by the Company in case the exchange is made for a product of a lower value;
    • In case of a Refund - If you have paid through Cash-on-Delivery (COD), your money will be refunded via NEFT to your bank account, this will be done upon fulfilment of appropriate bank account acknowledgement processes on the website. While the Company will endeavor to process the refund within 14 days, the Company cannot take responsibility in case of inordinate delays from interconnecting banks or account related complications;
    • In case of an Exchange - A fresh product with the same specifications would be issued. Unless explicitly specified, verified & acknowledged, we will send the product to the address mentioned in the initial invoice. In case the replacement product is unavailable, we would be refunding the amount (as per normal process). The Company is not liable for any additional payment on account of this;
  • The success of the refund request will be communicated either via an e-mail provided by us to you via registered email. You will have a period of 7 (seven) days to confirm your decision to us on whether you would be requiring website credits, replacement, refund or exchange. In the event we do not receive any communication from you, therefund would be allocated to website credits. All website credits need to be redeemed within 14 (fourteen) days from date of creation. The Company is not responsible for any incorrect contact details that were mentioned during order creation or account creation;
  • Apart from these, in the case the original manufacturers/representative/official resellers provide any specific warranty, then, those will be applicable subject to your compliance with the warranty terms mentioned therein. With respect to the warranty offered by the original manufacturer/official reseller, the Company would not be responsible or liable for the same. Your claims will have to be raised with the original manufacturer/representative/official reseller.

 

RETURN POLICY POST 14 DAYS

 

At Specskraft, we maintain very high quality standards for our eyewear. If you’re not happy with your purchase, simply contact us for a replacement in line with our product guarantee.

Our 365-day product guarantee means customers are eligible for a one-time replacement pair within 12 months of receipt of their order. The one-time replacement pair will be only issued if there are clear defects in material and workmanship and this would be at our discretion. The product guarantee does not cover damage caused by accidents, negligence or improper care.

In case the same product is unavailable, we will refund the amount back to you via website credits. Prescription lenses will be replaced as per the same prescription that was specified in the corresponding initial order. In case there’s a request for a change in the lens power, it would be charged for separately and prevailing charges would apply.

 

DELIVERY POLICY

 

  • The Company will make the delivery on a ‘best effort’ basis after acceptance of your order. Subject to events beyond the Company’s control, the Product/s will be shipped from our offices within 10 (ten) days of the acceptance of the order;
  • The Company will communicate the dispatch details to you and will ship the Product/s to the mailing address provided by you while placing the order. If you do not receive the Product/s within a reasonable period of time, you should immediately notify the Company.
  • Title and risk of loss for all Product/s ordered by you shall pass on to you upon the Company’s shipment to the shipping carrier.
  • You have an obligation to forthwith check the Product/s for accuracy upon receipt of the same;
  • The Company expressly disclaims any guarantee of exactness as to the finish and appearance of the final Product/s as ordered by you based on the display on the Website/s. The Company is also not liable in any manner if the quality of any Product/s, Services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Website/s may not meet your expectations. If you have concerns regarding the same, you may write to us at support@specskraft.com. Basis the Company’s discretion, we will provide you an opportunity to receive website credits to be redeemed against the purchase of the alternative product of the same value;
  • In the event of the ordered product not being available for supply post confirmation of the order, the Company will provide you an opportunity to receive website credits to be redeemed against the purchase of the alternative product of the same value or a refund for the same. The Company is not liable for any additional payment on account of this and the refund mode would be as per the prevailing refund policy;

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

  • In the event you desire to cancel any order, then, such cancellation must be done prior to the dispatch of the Product/s to you. Once dispatched, the Company will not accept any cancellation request from your end;
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel an order in case the order request is not acceptable to the Company. Upon such cancellation, the Company will offer store credits to you. Any such cancellation shall be at the sole discretion of the Company and you will have no right to contest the same. The reasons for cancellation could be due to non-availability of the Product/s, inaccuracy in Product or pricing information or due to reasons of any fraud or wrong usage of payment mechanism adopted by you. Any cancellation will be intimated to you by the Company via your registered email address. The refund or reimbursement for the same would be via website credits or refund as per mode of payment;
