A: Yes. Keeping in mind thickness, for powers between 3 & 10 spherical, we recommend only high index lenses. At Specskraft, we offer high index Japanese MR-8 lenses with Anti-Glare Coating. More information on these lenses here.
A: Yes. We offer high end photochromic lenses that darken in sunlight. You should try them out, more information on these lenses here.
A:We’ve been in the optical industry for 30+ years now. From our experience, since Bifocals/Progressive lenses tend to have detailed measurements that are best taken in person, we would recommend that you buy them offline. However, if you really liked a Specskraft frame, you can have a plano (zero power) lens added onto it and shipped to you. The lenses can then be replaced at a qualified optician.
A:At the moment, all our sunglasses are non-Rx lenses. However, we do offer high end photochromic lenses that turn darker in the sunlight. You could try them out, more information on that here.
A: Sorry, we do not currently sell lenses independent of frames on Specskraft.
A:No lens can ever be scratch proof; they can only be scratch resistant.

Lenses are subjected to wear and tear because of usage and environmental conditions. They are specially coated so that they can withstand this wear and tear but not forever. This is why people are advised to change their lenses at least every 2 years. Lenses from Specskraft come with a special scratch resistance coating "Fortius" which helps them last longer than the normal lenses.

Most lenses from Specskraft also have other properties of being – Anti-reflective, Smudge resistant, Water repellent, Dust repellent & UV protection.

A: Prescriptions are usually added onto a form after the purchase of the eyeglass frame. In case you need to add yours later, you can either add it via the "My Account" section, or mail us a picture of the prescription to help@Specskraft.com with the invoice & order number clearly specified in the subject line. A: At the moment, we don’t have an option where you can get your power checked by a visiting Specskraft expert. You’ll need to send us a prescription from your nearest optometrist. Not to worry, we’re going to be starting this service soon in all the top metros.
A: Eyeglass prescriptions & Contact Lens prescriptions need not match. We always recommend that you use prescriptions specifically meant for Contact Lenses while placing your order.

A: Your orders are our first priority, and we will usually dispatch them in 5-7 days from the time you place them (or, from the time you send in your prescription). The delivery usually happens 3-6 days from the date of dispatch depending on the city and mode of courier.
